It gives us great pleasure to confirm that Top 100 SA Wines – ‘Wine List Challenge’ 2012 have succeeded in putting together the highest quality panel of wine list judge expertise available today in South Africa. The panel is made up of professional wine people whose independent expertise offers impeccable reputations and credentials. They all have deep expertise and experience in the specialist fields of wine list construction, SA wine knowledge, wine storage and Cape vintages, food and wine relationships as well as wine training and skills development. Insightful knowledge and work experience abroad gives them international ability and respect. Objectivity and accuracy are hallmarks of all of their personal attributes. A total of five professional judges have now been appointed. Each of two panels will be made up of three voting experts. Each panel consists of two judges together with the Challenge Chair, who will preside over each decision, as well as over any possible contention.
