Expertise Level

There are three broad levels of expertise around which your private wine country safari can be set:

• Elementary, including simple overviews of farming, winemaking and viticulture practices. General wine industry information will be discussed while local anecdotes flavour the compelling SA story.
• Intermediate, where there is a greater concentration on viticulture practices, cellar strategies and wine making detail.
• Expert or Technical, which will be even more tailored and will focus on specific areas articulated by the client. These might include specific terroir focus, clonal selection, sustainable practices, irrigation, canopy management, maturation, barrel strategies, blending, and more.
